NEAA finishes another fantastic event for 2010---The annual trek to Mount Snow, VT for the NEAA Winter Seminar & Outing. The two day event was well attended by over 225 attendees and some 73 Vendors. The seminars were packed all day long to listen to speakers, educational and interesting industry subjects.
We had several great activities from the first evening with our opening reception and a Poker Party sponsored by United Bank Card raising over $4,400 for Make a Wish Foundation. Over the past years NEAA participants have contributed over $35,000 to the many Charities.
The second day was really hectic, starting off with seminars, various speakers and educational subjects, then a well hosted buffet lunch, sponsored by Merchant Warehouse, with the Vendors. The day continued with more seminars to be concluded with an outrageous Closing Reception but not to end here. EMS – Electronic Merchant Systems was again this year’s sponsor of the Night at the Snow Barn. Entertainment was hosted by our own DJ – Brendan Lauber of UBC. |

| I wanted to take the time to provide some feedback on the conference. I started with RDM in November ’09 and this was the first time I attended the NEAA. I’ve attended many conferences and this one was well organized and the attendance from prospects was excellent. Great show and a great location! |

| Jacques, This was my first time attending and it was a class event. Since I live in Vermont, I'd prefer the location and Winter timeframe to stay as is. I have a suggestion: Rather than us taking notes on the small pads provided on the tables, Print up all of the power point bullets with space for notes right after the agenda in the program. While it would add a few more pages, the added benefit would be a popular addition. Kevin Cox and I were impressed with the facility and the hotel staff, and we can't say enough good things about the food. I liked the registration fee waived for early birds, but I'd be willing to pay a nominal fee for early signup. I think the value of the event is worth it. I do think the hotel fees were a bit pricey. I did some serious networking, and had plenty of time to visit vendors. I would rate the Seminar a 10 overall. As a first timer who's been in the business for quite a few years, this was an excellent way to get my batteries recharged. |
Thanks!
